    I don't think so. Mark.

    Roundup/2-4-D

I never mix, but I do sometimes use a surfactant if the label says to. Roundup is non-selective: it kills everything-grass or weeds, but not brush. 2 4 D is used on broadleaf plants-young weeds usually. To kill brush/small trees/briars-Crossbow is a product that I commonly use. Once an undesired...

    IH 364 diesel British

Always clean and dry the area thoroughly, run it at operating temperature and rpm. And just stare at it until the leak appears. Mark.

    Poison Hemlock Question Again

I am VERY interested to know if the seeds are still viable (hope I used that word correctly!) I don't use glysophate on it though, I use crossbow. When it is small, 2 4 d will kill it. This spring I used Nova Graze on my pastures and have only found one cluster of hemlock in a wooded area. I...

    Poison Hemlock Question Again

I looked up the definition of pith and pithy, and Tom's description is accurate. Mark.

Hey Randy-do you ever go to shows in Ohio, or just your local Michigan shows? Mark.

    Poison Hemlock Question Again

Here in Kentucky, it will grow over 6' tall easily, with LOTS of blooms. And the seeds are very tiny. Where a few years ago there were a couple of pants, there now are 1/2 acre patches. It spreads exponentially, prolifically, very quickly, and very heavily. It stays poisonous in hay. Spray for...

    Poison Hemlock Question Again

My understanding is different. Our county extension agent reported a local farmer had been bushhogging a large patch of it, open station tractor, and he got sick. And touching it is to be avoided. Mark.

    Poison Hemlock Question Again

It can be confused with Queen Annes Lace. Poison hemlock has reddish stems, and is prolific seeder-30,000 to 100,000 seeds per plant. It is poisonous, and I won't be surprised if it becomes law to eradicate it on your own land. Here in Kentucky, there are places where a few years ago there were...

    latest storm damage

Make it earn its keep! I still have, and use, my IH300 utility. But the Kubota Is used more. I'm glad you're still posting. Mark.

    latest storm damage

Yeah, we had some storm damage here too. I used my grapple bucket to get most all of the limbs moved. With my aching back, the fact we don't burn wood in the house anymore, the grapple comes in real handy. By the way, is that a Kubota lurking in your shed? Making the old IH's jealous? I bought...

    International 856D oil leaks

Pressure wash it, and, then run it. Get it hot at higher RPMs, and, check. Otherwise, you're guessing. Mark.

    IH 364 diesel British

I would try a hydraulic shop-one that rebuilds cylinders and can fab metal lines. Maybe a Napa or parts store, but I would lean towards a specialty hydraulic shop. Mark.

    IH 484 3 Pt Lift

That is how the 3pt operates on that series. The draft control, when pulled back, will cause it to raise higher. But I would not want this to be the full raised height. Raise it with the control lever and that is usually sufficient. Mark.

    O rings?

This is not my field of expertise, BUT, I think your bore to shaft clearance should be closer to .001 or even less. The valve/shaft is what does most of the sealing, I think, not the o ring. Mark.
