    what is the running time on a full tank on a H, say mowing all day?

    filled the lift all sytem with oil. Per advice i recieved here, pulled back on the lever and could feel resistance. As well the engine loaded up. A week later, the lever still has resistance, but there is no load on the engine as before. Anyone know why, is that good or bad etc...? Also, the dip...

    Mine is the pipe type seat. It's still a solid seat, but worn enough that it leans to the right. I suppose from years of someone looking back over their left shoulder.

    Her's what it looks like now. Repainted, generator repaired, new wiring and lights, and correct decals for 1944. I know the air intake cap should be red. I forgot about it when i was painting. More paint on order.

    1944 H. I've had it about 3 mouths now, and the dip stick hasnt any reading on it.

    If the hydraulic lift system isnt ever going to be used, does it still need to be filled with oil?

    can these tractors be traced using the serial number?

    okay, that makes sense. so how exactly is that wired? i'm guessing run a wire from the "bat" terminal to the neg battery post. then run from the L terminal to the light switch....is that right?

    farmall h--the set screw on the pulley system is really messed up. looks like someone tried to drill it out at one point, anyway i cant get whats left of it out. can i simply unbolt the water pump and get the belt on that way?
