    Am I on the right track????

    My apologies Goose but I still can’t figure out why people would replace a 6 volt system with a new 12 volt system. Good cables good battery and fixing the generator for probably less money than the new 12 volt system and the 6 volt stuff in my mind is just as good on an old tractor.

    It’s a three day drive from where I’m at in southern Alberta but I know a couple of guys maybe even myself that might drive down and get it if he price is right. Maybe send some pictures as well. I know im late with this reply.

    Considering a skid steer...thoughts

    Really hard to compare the prices of skid steers because no other manufacturers offer the extendable side arm. Without that option the JCB was less than a comparable new holland and the John Deere. Did not price out a cat because there is no dealer close to me.

    I’ve owned two skid steers. First one was a Melroe bob cat skid steer and it was a good machine. Even with the foot controls. I bought a new JCB last with the side door entry single arm and the extendible arm. They call it a teleskid. It’s an excellent machine. When I bought my first one 20 ish...
