    Hydraulic Fluid Question

So I am going to [b:35d7659c75][i:35d7659c75]really [/i:35d7659c75][/b:35d7659c75] expose my ignorance here. But I jumped in here on this thread before realizing my tractor is a 641 model. It has three fill spots: on the top of the transmission for it, 2) Under the seat for the hydraulics and...

    Hydraulic Fluid Question

I want to make sure I understand this. You, or someone, keeps using term "sumps". One filler fills the transmission [b:c8bf0a6b44][i:c8bf0a6b44]AND [/i:c8bf0a6b44][/b:c8bf0a6b44] hydraulic pump?[/i]

    Good Carb Rebuild Instructions?

Thanks for that, old. For $20 I am just going to get another carb kit and that way I will have instructions. I need to go there anyway for some unrelated stuff. Thanks again. The reason I am tackling the rebuild is it just won't start. It wouldn't start this summer and I had good spark...

    Good Carb Rebuild Instructions?

old, Jerry and Andy thank you for the responses and help. Mine doesn't. That's what I get for buying it at Tractor Supply.:x Point taken. Other than for domestic tranquility  , why not in the kitchen? It's the only place I have when it is freezing out.

    Good Carb Rebuild Instructions?

So I have the carb off my (What I think is) 641 Ford. And I have it and the carb rebuild kit sitting on my wife's kitchen counter. You can well guess her enthusiasm about this. Now what I need are some instructions on how to do it. Can anyone direct me to a good web page of instructions or...

    Where's the hydraulic dipstick?

Thanks, Sean. That's exactly what mine is. It sits in front of the tranny and is step up and step down and direct. So it is looking increasingly like what I have is, in fact, a 641.

    Where's the hydraulic dipstick?

Royce, Thank you. Although I had to Google "aft" to figure out what that meant! I did find a flat area and it has a serial number but no model number. I need to clean it off some more but it looks like a 6 digit serial number starting with a 3. That link is hugely helpful in...

    Where's the hydraulic dipstick?

Here is the photo. (sorry about the duplicate post.) So not an NAA. The serial number I got is 310905. I'm having difficulty matching up with list on this site. But I haven't pursued it rigorously yet.

    Where's the hydraulic dipstick?

Here is a picture of my wheel. So this is most likely a 641?

    Where's the hydraulic dipstick?

Billy NY, Sean in PA & Royce, thanks for your responses. It looks like I have found a great source of help as I clean up this tractor, get it running and ready for winter. Billy, I did figure out the different compartments and measuring spots. They're all empty!:( I will look for that...

    Where's the hydraulic dipstick?

Yes, incredibly dumb question but I can't find the dipstick, or the fill opening on my Ford Tractor. For the hydraulics that is. I have a tractor that my dad always referred to as the "641". But the manual that I have for it is for a "Model NAA". It is one of those. I find a...
