    Show at Fairview, Oklahoma

    OT House lights flickering

    Had the same thing in my house of the same vintage. The main ground had loosened. Electrician said because the main feed wires were aluminum, their expansion rates as they warmed and cooled over the years would cause them to loosen.

    Timing/Starting 1942 B Allis Chalmers

    It sound like you have a hand crank start with a magneto.....correct? If so, here is what I did. I had the magneto off of the tractor. Pulled the plugs so I didn"t have to fight against the compression. With my finger over the number one plug hole I slowly pulled it around till I felt it...

    farmall h white smoke no power

    White smoke usually means coolant in the cylinders. Bluish smoke means oil is being burnt. Black smoke means fuel issues...usually too rich. The fact that you are seeing fuel drip can mean that the float is not closing the valve or that it is closing it too late but I don"t think it means...

    There is also a Yahoo forum dedicated to Power King tractors. I forget the exact link but you should be able to search Yahoo forums for it. Lots of knowledgeable folks there. Usually lots of parts on Ebay too. I have a "72 Power King 2414.

    pole chain saw sharpening

    If you have a Dremel tool, there is a chain saw sharpening kit that works very well. Uses long cylindrical stones. Fast and can get the teeth razor sharp. Stones come in all the popular sizes.

    ot plane in east texas

    AWACS. Very common aircraft. Based at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City. At nearly any given time of day you can see one coming in or going out.

    MT steering

    Thanks. No time to get to it this week or next. Trying to get it ready for a parade late next month but if I can"t get it sorted by then I will not feel confident about driving it through crowds of people like it is.

    MT steering

    I have a 1950 MT narrow front. Recently purchased but had to sort out a rotted gas tank before I could drive it. Runs pretty good. Next issue to tackle is a worn steering. Shimmies badly with a lot of play in the steering wheel. Is there any adjustment in the steering gear?
