    Neighbor has a N/H 2120 (90's era Diesel). Intermittently, after starting, the wire from the key to the magnetic switch gets hot and has burned insulation off. Anyone ever had this problem and where do I tell him to start looking?

    Richard, My Hi 40, which I feel is very original has a D-R Gen with the Model #1100998 and Serial # 5L-26. My second 40 does not have a tag but is hard stamped 9096 and under that a diamond about 3/8" long with an <A> stamped in the center and 12 V next to that. No other stampings are...

    Dimensions of hydraulic arms

    What is the OAL of the lower lift arms and the left lift rod on the '56 F-40 Utility? I need to replace a mismatched set. Max in Mich

    Arms are not lifting

    Is the PTO lever on the left side of the tractor engaged? With the clutch pressed down push the lever back toward the rear of the Tr as far as it will go. You must have the PTO engaged for the hydraulics to work.
