Are all John Deere 350 hay rakes run by PTO? Are any of them ground driven?

    2020 firing problem

My 2020 shows fire all the way to the coil, but I have no spark at any of the plugs. What should I change? Plugs? Rotor? Points and condenser?

    Tractor house prices.

It's the same way on Facebook Market Place (Yes, I know. No one on here is on FB). No matter what the item is, the price is astronomical on most of the them regardless of what they are.

    WOW! Close call

When I was about 17 I was working for a guy who sent me over to his brothers house to borrow a disk. I hooked the disk to the tractor and headed down the road. In about a half mile I looked back to see the tire smoking like a wild fire. I stopped. Got off the tractor and walked back to see what...

    Craig's list question

It’s the same way with market place on Facebook. People advertise and don’t put a location or a price. When you message them they say, “Oh, Facebook doesn’t allow prices.” To which I reply,” There’s at least ten ads before yours that has a price listed.” I usually get no further response.

More on night time fall plowing

Back in the early 50’s, my great uncle owned a lot of row-crop land and he had 2 Oliver 60’s and ran a day crew and night crew when preparing the land. Only stop to eat and fuel up, until your shift ended.

    Doesn't hurt to ask

A friend of mine stopped and asked about a Ford Mustang that had been sitting in a yard for years. Old lady answered the door and when he inquired about buying it, she angrily told him she was tired of people asking about it and wished they would leave her alone. Two weeks later his cousin had...

    Started soybeans

Here in Louisiana we have pretty much finished up with the 2020 harvest year. Tropical Storm Beta dumped enough rain to keep us out of the field for a week. If not for that, most grain farmers would be through. As it is, there are a smattering of soybeans still out there and most of the cotton...

    Harvestor Company

I am currently reading a book by Barbara Marsh titled, A CORPORATE TRAGEDY. It's about the demise of the International Harvester Company. A very interesting book and kinda sad. They had such brilliant leadership, yet were blind to the things that were slowly killing the IH business. They were...

    PEOPLE!

Frustrating. Yes. I hate it when they say, "It's the new normal." But I'm afraid this type of disrespectful, narcissistic behavior IS the new normal. Sad times we live in.

    1967 John Deere 112

Down here in Louisiana we got a guy asking $800 to $1000 for these and they are NOT in running condition. I guess you can "ask" any price.

    Be it ever so humble....

Love me some mountains. Love me some early spring. This place will be fine. I'll settle right here.

    Thin skinned people

I have the same problem. Either bleeding or blood spots under the skin from the slightest bump or scratch. My doctor said it's the price we pay for having English/Irish/Scandinavian heritage.

    New one for me.

There are 4 bales in each roll. John Deere says their next line of cotton pickers will cost one million dollars. I still have a one row John Deere 22 cotton picker. Corn had pushed cotton out here in Louisiana for several years but with the prices like they are and the knew breeds of cotton...

    Ever Had A Runaway Tractor?

I once dismounted from my B John Deere only to hear an rpm change behind me and turned to see the tractor, driverless, heading away from me. I ran and got along side of it since it wasn't going but about 2 miles an hour, and knocked the clutch lever back, stopping it. Anybody ever had a runaway...
