    New to me MF 135 - need advice on getting it running

    Sounds like the thermostat might be stuck and not opening up? You could pull it out and put it in hot water on your stove to see if it is working correctly or not... This is assuming you have let it run long enough to reach whatever temperature is needed to cause the thermostat to open up.

    I checked with a well known local salvage. They are 200$ for a replacement knee. I decided to gamble and ordered a new knee for a 165 at 100$. I believe the main challenge is going to be using the 165's steering arms and adjusting the tie rods and such to fit and still maintain full motion. I...

    Hello all, I have acquired a 1960 Massey Ferguson 65 and have recently started performing various repairs on it. The front end is the worst I have ever seen on an old tractor. Pivot bushings completely worn through, spindle thrust bearings completely gone... the spindles have worn 1/2" or more...
