    Unstyled JD A cutaway

It would be interesting to have a crank on it (other than the flywheel), so a person could turn it very slowly. That way you could easily stop it at TDC and BDC. I’d like to see a photo of it.

    Got Some Hayin' Done

Same here, started first cutting today. Only the second time ever this late, 1993 was the first. One good point, the pheasants and ducks were able to hatch and move out of the way.

    silo unloaders

We"ve got two Hansons, a ring drive and a wheel drive. It doesn"t take much to stop the ring drive. Both work well.

    discbine/disc moco opinions revisited

I"ve got an Agco 3312, same as the MF. It has been super for me so far. I like the way the hitch is not carried through the gear boxes. I would like to have someone show me how to grease the over-running clutch without taking the shields off.

    Frost seeding

Orchard grass has done the best for us when frost seeding. Do it in late March when there is no snow and a few chances of freezing temps yet. Put some fertilizer on at the same time with a cart. Red clover works well also but horses might not like it so well.

John Deere 30 series lighting upgrade

We upgraded our 4030 and 4430 to the 40 series lights. One more in the front and one on top of the fender. Easy to do and the extra in front, when useing halogens, really makes a difference.

    a dumb bull!

I found one of our bulls dead in a feeder similar to that. He slipped and hung himself. The insurance company said they would only pay if he died from an accident. I guess they figured he committed suicide.

PHOTO - the grass tastes better on the other side

Great looking pasture. I bet they don't even have to pay the help that work there. I really like looking at the photos of your area.

    Uurraag! Broken sparkplug update!!

Doesn't look like the crack is to the combustion chamber yet. That seems to be a lot of deposits for 200 hrs.

    electric fence

Just get some good 12ga. insulated wire and lay it on the ground. Or cover it up with a couple inches of soil if you're looking for work.
