How to tackle no-start low battery (days below -20F)

If I had a tractor at a remote location I would plumb it and my pickup so I could circulate warm coolant from my pickup to the tractor engine via quick disconnects and heater hose. I've lived in Wis and Alaska for 67 years, I know a thing or two about cold weather!

    Shop Floor

Foam board under the slab keeps the floor from sweating on warm humid days. Concrete will pull moisture from the ground, at least install some sort of vapor barrier.

    Sticker Shock

I paid 700$ two months ago to have a 65' 36" at the stump white oak taken down. I could have had a grandson climb up and tie a cable to it and hook a tractor on it to keep it off the house as it was about 10' off the house and leaning that way. 700$ was cheap for me, 3 guys 2 1/2 hours and one...

Does anyone have an Evolution metal chopsaw?

I just use an old Skil saw with a metal cutting blade, cutting 3/4 plate works fine. Don't push to hard and blades seem to last a reasonable amount.

    Removing antique wheel

Myself, I would cut the axle and get it in a press. Heat and steady slow pressure. Should be able to support right on the wheel hub.
