    I picked up a DATABOOK volume 15 from Goodyear / Titan, at a trade show a few years back. I use it lots! Bias R-1 Dyna Torque 11 by Good Year shows; @25lbs, Flat Plate Area is 279 sq-in for 18.4-38; 359 sq-in for 20.8-42. Extensive charts for all types and sizes.

    Battery Cable Terminal Replacement

    Bad news! Welding cables are superior to regular battery cables however the cover on the welding cables are not resistant to diesel and oil. I used them on off road motor scrapers for a while. They were subjected to diesel leaks and the insulation swelled up three times it's original size...

    Look on the bottom of the drum. Most have the gauge embossed in the metal with 2 inch numbers. Returnable are mostly 20 gauge, one time disposables are 22 gauge.

    OT/ Need help with '04 Freightshaker

    Check starter voltage. Acts like 24 volts. I have some machines with full 24 volt systems. If you put a 12 volt starter on 24 volt system, It will really turn fast ----- for a little while. Put a 24V on a 12V system, just barely turns.

    B 12 Caterpillar

    I fell air to a Cat/Towmotor 12000lb forklift. The engine is tired but I can't identify it. It's going to be 1960-1970 vintage. It is a flat head six with the distributor coming straight out of the head between #4 and #5 cylinders. It is physically smaller than a Chrysler. Any ideas?
