Deutz D4006 won't start.
I just bought a Deutz D4006, 35 engine Hp. It runs great, has power steering, 2 stage clutch and good 3 pt. hitch and good brakes. But it has to be pulled to crank it, and it doesn't roll 10 feet before it cranks. I even put a new 1000 cranking amp battery on it but it still turns over too slow...- Walter Buller

Ford 3000 hydraulic lift
The lift quit working on my daughter's 3000 and the transmission oil is white (assuming it has water in it) The oil in the hydraulic pump is dark and the rear axle oil is low. I am going to change both, however I am not clear as to which supplies the lift. Can anyone tell me which source of oil...- merle kopf

Ford Identification numbers
Sorry no pictures, but the numbers are from the flat spot on top of the lug on case just behind the starter where the model info is supposed to be. I figured the last number was serial but didn't know what the A was for would still like to know what the E185 is. No label under hood either. The...- merle kopf

Ford Identification numbers
I am having trouble understanding the model and production code. The numbers on my tractor are 5E7C E185 A106/789 The / between 6 & 7 may be just a scar on the metal. It appears to have been struck by something. The decal on the tractor says Ford 3000.- merle kopf
