    that young man in the picture is my 13 year old son on my dads 49 pony with hand lift little guy plowed all day last year at plow day, we did not have the motor for his grey 54 pony with hydralics rebuilt yet

    i have a 1947 44-6 that i pull sometimes and it does ok in the 4000lbs class it will hold it own and in the 4500 around middle of the class, although i have beaten some 44-4 in the 4500lbs class before but rarely ,it depends on the track and your tires , alot of other things too

    wiring is not that hard had to replace all of mine on my 1947 44-6,,use the force [common sense and letter to go by].

    there is a hole on the carb side that is used for timing, make sure you can see the timming mark by turning slowly and put a chalk mark on it for easier seeing with the timming light,

    444 Live power clutch ?

    my dad have a similar problem to that ,he thought of bolting the clutch in some how but my brother found out that there is a secrect to lining up the disc in the clutch so it wont slip when pulling
