Clutch Replacement NAA
It's always a good idea to replace the transmission input shaft seal while the tractor is split. That also allows you to use the input shaft as a clutch alignment tool. You also need to be aware that the pressure plate bolts are pretty soft and won't take a lot of torque to break them.- mhb@ufe

Is this a 8N10505B or 8N10505C regulator?
That looks like it could be an original 8N10505B however the replacement will not look the same. https://www.yesterdaystractors.com/8N10505B_Voltage-Regulator_465.htm- mhb@ufe

Clutch adjusting
Adding free play will make the clutch engage lower within the travel of the pedal. Too much free play and the clutch will not disengage. -

Needs help identifying part number
Messick's shows that sprocket as using 2040 chain which will work fine with the 12 tooth sprocket.- mhb@ufe

More Bush Hog shear pin issues.
It sounds like you are using the wrong size bolt. If a 7/16 will fit that is what you should use. If a 1/2 in will fit that is what you should use.- mhb@ufe
