    steering priority valve stuck

If they are the same I have had mine apart on my 706 a dozen times as it did not run when I got it and they are fairly simple. I just took things off and laid them in oreder and went back together in reverse and everything worked perfectly. After a bunch of messin around I found out that the...

    560 hydraulics

yes I could put on a larger cylinder but more pressure would be better all the way around. I use the tractor for other things also. And yes I am pretty sure pressure is the problem. Can I make more pressure with the parts in the tractor or does it require new parts? I have restored this tractor...

    460 hydraulic filter bypass valve

Napa sells a filter that you just replace the old one with and it fits right in there. I cant remember the number though. When I have aractor with old nasty oil in it I try to run it and get it warm then dump it quickly but if its to bad you might want to drain it put new oil in it then drain...

    766 steering wheel removal

I took the nut off mine and soaked it with penetrating oil and let it set. Then I still had to heat the steering wheel base a little bit. If you do have to do that I would put the seal kit in the steering motor while I was there so I knew it was good and for fear of burning out the seals. I...

    560 outer axle bearings

Yes remove the cast hub or axle mount hub then remove the seal retainer and the seal. Then you are at the bearing, when I did mine I had to torch it out. I was a little concerned about the torch slag getting in the rearend but there is kind of like a cup behind there bearing so I cut out the...

    460 diesel won't start

I had to pull my 560 when I first got it running and the pump would then ppump enough for it to run but after I shut it off then it wouldnt start. Pull it and it would run again. I took the pump to the diesel shop and now it starts good. Those tractors are all slow cranking it would be nice if...

    Farnall706 loader

I have a 706 and it has a DUAL loader on it. Its the first dual loader I have ever ran but I like it a lot on this tractor. It will lift a lot higher than westendorfs I have used in the past. They are a little harder to find seal kits for but its not to bad. I have 3 sets of wheel weights on it...

    weird loader brand

I have recently purchased a loader for my tractor but the catch is that I have never heard of the brand (if I was told correctly). They told me it was a TAS brand is there even such a thing. It does'nt have much paint on it as it appears to have been outside a while (first uncaught clue). It...

    Rear axle diamaeter.

If I am correct they used 2 3/4 inch axles through the 666 series but not 100% on that. But do know up to 560 had that size.

    450 throttle linkage

I just fixed that on a 450 about a month ago and mine was the pin hole in the rod that the throttle lever connects to. I drove out the old pin and drilled everything out the same size then put a bolt in it so it would be easier to get out next time. If I remember correctly I used a 1/4 inch bolt.
