    I have tried that. I think the tractor is so old the dried grease is keeping the band from coming around. I will try a little harder tomorrow. I didn't remember being able to do that. Thanks. Mike

    ib brake replacement.

    I'm trying to replace my brake bands. I worked on several WD's years ago on the farm. I have the axle and housing off. I have the bearing cap off. I have been trying to get the drum to move on the axle. It won't move. I have removed the set screw andcan see the key. What do I do now?
