    1964 4140 4cyl dash panel

You will need to source one from a 62-64 4000 for an exact match. A dash panel from a Jubilee, NAA, 600, or 601 series will not fit your 1964 4000 because the hole for the steering shaft needs to be closer to the rear of the panel for your 4000 because the hood sits higher. A dash panel from...

    Rest-o-ride seat

Sounds like something is broken and allowing the seat to severely sag. I'm south of Traverse City by about 15 miles and my wife and I hunkered down in the basement half bath for a tornado warning. Thankfully no tornado came of it, but there is lots of flood and bridge damage in Traverse City.

    Rest-o-ride seat

Might be a two person job. One person pulls up on the seat pan while the other person backs out adjustment screw.

    UP Michigan Blizzard

I feel for you, cant imagine the amount of snow you have up there. I'm near Traverse City, MI in the lower peninsula and tonight will be 5th day in a row of cleaning my driveway with the Kubota B2650. Hope to not have to snowblow again for a while. Lots of power outages all around us, but...

    Row crop leveling box update

If the one large arm aesthetics bother you enough, replace the left one with another big leveling box assembly. Might be pretty handy even if you dont find it handsome :).

    Projects for 2026

I should try to get a fresh coat of paint on my 860 Ford. Don't have much on the list for house projects this year so maybe this is the year for tractor paint.

    7/900 Ford Front Weights

Better priced than a few years back. Seems about $1100 was the asking price when these were in their prime a decade or less ago. Market has fallen off with lower demand. Almost been listed for a week and still available. Thanks for posting even though I have no need. Still nice to see these...

Snow plows for 3 cylinder tractors?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say not without a welder and some fabrication after a google search for Ford 4600 with a snowplow and finding almost nothing other than a homebuilt rig that uses a pickup truck plow on a home built frame. 4600 homebuilt snow plow

Guys please help!! Ford 800 rear main

Search YouTube for Chicken House Mechanic rear main seal. It is a great explanation and demonstration of a leak free rear main for a Ford tractor. I did a similar installation on my 860 back in 2012, still leak free today. See link below for video. rear main seal

    1963 2000 4 cylinder 4 speed rear split

There is a large gasket between the transmission and the entire rear end housing where the actual split happens. That is the gasket to soak in water before reassembly. I edited my earlier reply as I missed the critical word housing.

    1963 2000 4 cylinder 4 speed rear split

The rear split is simpler than the front split. Drain the hydraulics from the rear end and the hydraulic sump under the seat, pull the pto shaft, pull the pto shifter, and unbolt the running boards and possibly the exhaust, and split away. Remember to the wedge the front axle so the engine and...

    1964 Ford 4000 Blizzard

I used to snowblow with my 860. I wore a snowmobile helmet to help with the wind changing direction on me and covering me with snow dust.
