    9N tail light parts

    I just scored a Taurus taillight body at a salvage yard. It is missing one of the clips and screws that hold the white lens in. Anyone have an idea where to get them. Does anyone sell repair parts for Ford taillights? Again this is not the later one, it is the early Taurus light. Thanks, Mickey

    Flare VS Compression fittings

    Not sure what it is called but double flare sounds good.... I have seen flares that are first "folded in" then put in the flaring tool clamp then the flare point is inserted into the opening and and in effect creating a double wall flare.     I am only a couple of steps in front of you. I just bought the first tractor I could afford. Turned out to be a '41 9N which is sort of cool. But if I had looked into it for a time before I jumped I might have gone for a late 8N or one of the early blue model Fords...one with live hydraulics.

    I am admittedly pessimistic in my view of the future, but I would shelter as much of my net worth in things not denominated in US dollars as I could. I can't tell you what that is but the $$$ is and has been losing value for years. Look around, there certainly must be something available...

    Problem with consumer protection laws is they dilute the gene pool. With out them some of the dummies are removed from the gene pool thus improving the remaining genetics. With them you get " I want a free external_link phone"
