    I bought a 1466 from a farm auction about 2 years ago. when I purchased the tractor there was a hydraulic hose running from the left side of the of the tractor right under the power divider back to the rear hydraulic outlet. I asked the older farmer that was selling out what was going on here...

    I am trying to help a student get his grandfathers old Ford tractor going and the ser# shows it to be an 1948 8N but the tractor looks more like an 2N. We were checking fluids and everything I can find shows a dip stick on the right side of the rear end however this tractor does not have one...
