    safety

    I agree, things are getting pretty wild. Rember way back when wheelie bars became the rule? Guys fought it tooth and nail. Its a shame it takes an accident to get peoples attn. My thought is anything over 3000 rpm should at least have a blanket.

    Farmall 350 max bore

    I know of a super H in southern iowa that has a 4.375 bore that seems to be working well, but I know they had to loose some head studs to make it work.

    Yes we run water in the head. I drilled a hole in the side of the stock water pump and ran a hose from there to the back of the head and it seems to work fine. I had a little trouble getting an air lock out early on but since then so far so good. I did drill a small hole in each of the conn...

    sleeves

    They will work fine. I have a tryed and true red diamond engine thats 4.875 on the bore running .062 darton sleeves, and a 70 oliver with 560 diesel sleeves in it. both are dry blocks. put a flange on the top and go.

    3588 running hot

    last time I had a heating problem on an IH tractor it was a 6588 and the problem was the advance in the injection pump.

    Its getting harder to find good ignition parts all the time, not to mention switches. echelin {spelling?} seem to be about as good as any ive found.     any tricks to free stuck engine????

    Ive had pretty fair luck taking the rocker arms off, finding one piston on its way up and one on its way down and hooking hyd. hoses to those two cyls. and hooking my 1066 on to them. when you see the fan start to turn rock it back and forth with the hyd, lever. I also blew a head gasket out once!

    806 Farmall Propane regulator diaphram- HELP

    I gave up on finding parts for the old cetury stuff and went to a new impco regulator and carb. Now the 806 statrs and runs good even when the temp, is below 20 degrees.

    Vista parts

    Call clint Stamm. He had a compleat vista for parts last spring. I got the emblems off of it. He is located in nothern kansas.

    450 red diamond pistons

    There are no new pistons avalible for the red diamonds, nos if you can find them. I Just put one togeather that was bored to 4.560, only problem was getting the rings past the counter bore in the block.
