    Ford 3000 select-o-speed 10 speed transmission

    I bought this 3000 last fall and I cannot get the transmission to work right.All gears seem to be working fine,except when inching pedal is depressed it wants to go ahead slowly,even in reverse and neutral.It can be stopped if brakes are applied very hard.I haved adjusted the bands and checked...

    Oliver 77 charging system

    Thanks to all for the imformation. It looks like I need to change the battery cables to a heavy cable. I think I am going to stay with the 6 volt system. I will keep you posted on how I make out.

    Would it heart the 6 volt charging system if i put a 8 volt battery in it? a 6 volt dont have enought cranking power.Just rebiult motor.

    Just bought a Allis chalmers wd. I am going to restore it. Went to start the engine and it runs good. No smoking. Oil started running out of the front of the oil pan and the oil pressure was maxed out on the gauge. Where should I start on finding out why it has so high of oil pressure?
