    PTO spline shattered. What’s the fix

    I think it is the 1 1/8 to 1 3/8 adapter and not the main shaft that is broken. I had very poor luck with those adapters, and after breaking two of them many years ago, I now use a longer version of adapter. No adapter problems since.

    Re: put the 2n with wagner FEL to use yesterday

    Looks like the same Wagner Loader I had on my Jubilee. Took it off 20 years ago to rebuild and never got it put back on. Got one new lift cylinder and new pump for it. Still sitting in the barn waiting to be put back on. Maybe this year.

    Willy good to hear from you again. Thought of you the other day when I was out at the barn and stumbled over a few parts I got from you a few years back. Can't remember just what I got, but used some of them and they worked out fine. Keeping the rest for backup.

    Rope seal replacement tips??

    If I remember correctly, I used a screw that I was able to thread into the end of the seal, and then used pliers to pull the seal out. Just be sure you screw it in far enough so it doesn't pull out of the rope. Good luck.

    oil filter/2N

    I use NAPA Gold 1010 filter. But as much as I hate to admit it, it was 18 years since I changed the oil and filter on my 8N. Howsomevers it only had 50 hours on it in all those years. Use the Jubilee, JD 855, and two Cub Cadets for just about everything I need getting done. The 8N just sits...
