    3400 utility need help putting 750 hoe on.

    I have a 3500 ind that is in need of some tlc so I took the hoe off and am trying to put it on my 3400 utility. the front brackets for the backhoe subframe are obviously different due to the sheet metal nose on the 3400 instead of the heavy cast that is threaded on the 3500.     John Deere 40 timing

    Hi, Can anyone tell me how to time a John Deere model 40 without the timing tool AM450t. We have the tractor rebuilt, and that's what we're waiting on, but the manual calls for that specific tool, and I don't know how to do it without the tool. Any suggestions are appreciated.
