submersible pump in a well
Is there any way to determine if a submersible pump that has been unused for sometime and down in a well, is 120V or 240V without pulling it? Only thing we can try is to hook it up to a 120v generator and see if it might work. Ideas?- Roger in Iowa

D 17 hydraulic pump
I have a 1964 D 17 gas engine. I use the tractor on a regular basis to haul wood and move snow. The hydraulic pump is in the front of the tractor that came with a chain coupler. It was worn out. I tried to find one with no success. Does someone know where I can get one? I have a jaw coupler on...- mikebol250

D17 Runs poor after rebuild
I had a lot of problems with my D 17. The tractor guru told me to buy a good quality set of points and condenser from Napa or Advance auto. I did and it came out of it,' So I recommend the same thing.- mikebol250

D 17 distributor
I have been fixing up my d 17 and I bought a new rebuilt distributor for it. I paid the core charge of $80.00 mailed it on 5/9/17. I put in the necessary paper work in the box. I checked the tracking number and the received it 2 days later, I haven't heard a thing back from them. I'll call...- mikebol250

D17 Rebuilt distributor
I recently purchased a rebuilt distributor for my D 17 from Yesterday's tractor Co. It installed easily it had all the components on it, even the points were set correctly. I installed it and the tractor fired right up!! A+ Mike.- mikebol250

bending copper tubing
You could cut the copper and solder in the joint you need or a couple of joints to make one. I used this technique on a engine conversion and it still functioning.- mikebol250
