    2-105 foaming at the radiator

Lost my temp gauge today so I opened up the radiator cap to check if it was running warm. Found the radiator to be foaming out the top along with some air bubbles. Radiator was full and not hot that it couldn't be touched. Will need to track down why the gauge quit working today. No water...

Radiator replacement for a White 4-150

Need to remove the radiator on my 4-150. It sprung a leak in the core about half way down. Watched a video from Ross the Oliver Guy on removing a 4-180 radiator. It appears I have to undo the AC lines and pull the radiator out the front. Anything special I need to be aware of? Also where...

    More 1955 hydraulic questions.

I got a two step assembly from Maibach and it works nice. Agree that for some reason, that 70 thing makes getting on and off tractors so much more difficult. :( Only to be young again....

    1855 tire size?

Front tire size depends on your need. Larger ones provide more flotation. We replaced the larger front tires on a number of our 1855 because we used them for cultivating.

    More 1955 hydraulic questions.

I see all your other Olivers are 00 or 50 series. It's amazing the difference between the manual brakes on those and the hydraulic brakes on the 55 series. How did you get the steering loose?

    Holley Distributor on a 1650

Got one for my 1750. Ordered it online. Not sure if it was Summit or another source. Been awhile.

    4 digit tractor steps

I have gotten the double steps from Maibach and there are nice. Just have to prime them and paint them.

    More 1955 hydraulic questions.

The issue we had with shop made hoses, is that we could not start the threaded end of the hose on the inside spool because there was not enough clearence between the spool bottom and the flange for the axle to bolt on. Wasted some good $ on hoses I couldn't use, at least right away, they...

    More 1955 hydraulic questions.

Sounds like some very good progress. I found that it was nearly impossible to get the right hoses that go from the spool valves to the couplers. If I had the correct sized fittings, the hose would not fit. I beleive Maibach has come up with some fittings that resolve this issue. The...

    Oliver 1950 steering motor

Got a good look at my 1950 and how the steering motor is installed. It is not right to left but at the 11:00 and 5:00 as you described. This tractor is original and has been in the family since 1966. So what you have is correct. I even checked an older 1850 I have sitting in back and that...

    Oliver 1950 steering motor

I have my 1950 Oliver parked in front in the warehouse to work on. I will check to see how the unit is placed in that one. it is a 1966 tractor.

    Oliver 1950 steering motor

I do recall seeing a setup that was not accross at 3 and 9 but that was a while back and maybe on a much earlier model Oliver. Pictures would help. It just might be one of those really early installs.

    Oliver 1950 steering motor

Just to add to what Oliverkid stated. A 4wd would not have had a steering box under the radiator. it relied on cylinders under the frame. The only thing I can think of if it is an Oliver unit under your radiator, is that they may not have had the anchor strap which would have allowed it to...

Oliver 1955 remote controls and power beyond

Have had the steering columns lock up, usually from sitting outside for too long in the rain. Worst was when they froze up during the winter and you needed to use the tractor. I think Chris (that Oliver guy) even had a video on how to rebuild one. If i recall, they bolt on to the motor...

Oliver 1955 remote controls and power beyond

What is the issue with the steering. Don't recall seeing it.
