    Used Tires

Not very likely you will find any decent used examples in any other part of the world either, and if you did, the shipping would cost would pretty much be a deal breaker. You might try millertire.com

    Farmall 706 flames out muffler

If you were operating the tractor in low light conditions such as in the evening or at night, then the flames out of the stack are perfectly normal. Nothing to fix.

    Norden wide front end.

If it has not been abused, and is not worn out, probably no more than $500. If you want to sell it quick, price it at $300.

    surging 48 H

I think, from the way you describe it, the problem is in the governor. I wouldn't even bother with the carburetor, because too lean carburetor usually results in missing and stumbling and very rarely will cause the surging you are experiencing. Everything in that governor is probably worn...

    Farmall M

Buy from someone who has a good reputation for correct parts and quick, friendly service. Doesn't really matter who it is, because all of the aftermarket vendors get their inventory from just one or two different suppliers, and ultimately, those suppliers get their inventory from just one place.

farmall H Pitted Cylinder Head How to clean it up?

If the pitting is in the combustion chamber, just wire wheel it and get it as clean as possible. If the pitting extends into the valve port, the valve seat is probably compromised also and the seat will need to be replaced. That is not a do-it-yourself job. If the pitting is on the head gasket...

    Wartime cast steel gearshift knob

Your '49 M has a gear shift lever that is tapered at the top to accomodate the rubber shift knob. Because of the taper, it will be nearly impossible to cut the necessary threads. Only solution would be to cut off a portion of the lever and then weld a short length of 1/2"x20 to it.

    Computer or forum question?

It is NOT your computer. Do not do anything to it. In fact, there is nothing you CAN do. The problem is with the YT site. When I am on this site, I experience the same exact functions as you have. I can go to ANY other discussion forum and everything works just like it should.

    O/T Lexmark 5650

I had a Lexmark very similar to yours, and it did some very similar shenanigans, almost from the day it was brand new. I put up with it for a few years, until it developed a few new glitches. Did some research and learned that Lexmark is getting out of the ink jet printer business, so I...

Finally put the 300 back to work

The McCormick #31 loader will fit right on the 300 through 450 tractors just the same as it fits on the H and M, BUT, a spacer is required between the rear axle and the mounting bracket of the loader. The spacer is required to accomodate the extra length of the hundred series tractors. At one...
