    It don't go all the way to the right, maybe about 3 inches of cylinder to retract. Left will go full turn.

    We have been doing that and bleeding for a half hour the first day. once it gets all the way turned you steer the other direction and it only goes 1/3 of the way, then goes slowly as it synchronizes. Do we need to do it more times? Havent gained anything on it yet.

    It didn't change a thing. Seemed like there was some air in the scv at first but steered the same. Just tried it quick before going to plant, will try to bleed the steering again when we get caught up.

    Is there any difference in the gearbox? Was going to put straight flute rolls on our 643 but have heard it will be to hard on the gearbox? Just an extra set of roll pins was all that I was aware of being different? Hoping for sunshine... corns still at 25% Thanks Mitch

    Not using the Dial a speed pins but the rest are, still need to find where to get a power source for the lights. Closest I found is in the grain tank by the lights up there

    Getting flashers on head on 9500

    Going to get the flashers hooked up on the ends of our flex head and realized the combine, early 9500, don't have and wires for flashers in the harness along the feeder house. If you were in my shoes where would you look to tap into the combine harness to find power to send down to the head...

    Wondering which I should order and why? Need new rolls for our 643 head and see I can get either straight or tapered rolls, it has tapered on it now but the stalks all deadhead on the top before getting pulled through so time for new ones. Looked for answers on google but they think I should go...

    I know that but everyone seems to have a fit if loaders are hooked to scv instead of its own joystick/valves

    The steering was rebuilt by JD before I got it and it had the noise before that. It had a loader in its previous life not sure how it was plumbed in though. That was our next thought was rebuild the 3point valve as it helped the hydraulics work a lot better on our 2240.

    Bought a 1020 with a loud (squeal) noise from the pump but everything worked like it should so wasn't overly concerned. The noise wasn't constant and seems to be getting less frequent. It goes away when running a hydraulic motor off the scv and when the clutch (2 stage) is pressed all the way...
