IH 340 Utility question
Thanks for the reply. Could you go into a little more detail about the "voltage dropping thing". Where would I look for this? I don"t have a problem with using a 12 volt battery but don"t want to smoke my new generator. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks.- MJC

IH 340 Utility question
Hi, I have an 1963 IH 340 utility gas that I'm having what I think is ignition problems. It was originally a 6 volt positive ground system but had an (old) 12 volt battery on it when I purchased it. The generator which appeared to be a 6 volt went out (literally burned up) probably a result of...- MJC
