    Not sure why you felt the need to point this out? No one said any different. Regardless, not many items are made of mild steel in its “natutal” state. Most are worked or hardened in some way or another.

    I’m starting to think some of the regular users here either don’t read the original questions most of the time, or simply make stuff up so they can appear smart. Some responses aren’t just wrong, they’re baffling and have no relevance to the question. Oh well, nothing new I guess.

    New Holland Chain Balers - Questions

    Just to clarify, the chain balers aren't true "soft core" (fixed chamber) balers. They're still a variable chamber (solid core) baler. But their core isn't nearly as solid as most belt balers because of how the bale is started. May be a distinction without a difference, but worth mentioning.

    foam filler for small tire?

    I misunderstood, for whatever reason I thought you meant insulation foam. Poor reading on my part. I still think I’d skip the trial and just get a new tube. Some of that stuff can make a mess of the rim and dries like epoxy.
