help have a 500 JD tractor commercial loader backhoe

Parts diagram or shop manual aren't going to tell you where the hoses go. They assume you know or have the skill to figure it out. Unfortunately, at this point it's going to require some time and leg work to trace the line paths to the hydraulic cylinders. So long as you know which lever does...

help have a 500 JD tractor commercial loader backhoe

Check which valves move with movement of control levers and then follow hoses to the corresponding cylinder. It should become obvious then which ones should be reversed or are crossed.

    Hyd steering help

There is no feedback really, except full lock on any of our 4 with hydraulic steering and that's just the squeal of the pump as the pressure relief opens. The one with power assist through the mechanical linkage has plenty of feedback though.

    1966 Lamborghini 2R hydraulic issues

Must have taken it apart to paint in order to have changed anything. So either, low oil, maybe a spring and valve/washer in the wrong order, linkage not properly hooked up, pump not turning or needing priming, or maybe the lines hooked up in reverse?

Replaced Steering Cylinders...bled...not working MF 245

There’s a groove around the pump housing where that o-ring sits, if my memory is right and that o-ring should sit in there snug or it’s too big. It should not be pinched out of that groove anywhere. As said, put some grease on it to help hold it in place and help the cover slide over it. You...

No turnbuckle on that model. Hydrostatic steering, no mechanical link.

Replaced Steering Cylinders...bled...not working MF 245

If you can turn the wheels with the wheel, it isn't the steering valve. The only way to steer the wheels is by moving fluid through the valve. Those things are pretty bullet proof. Question is, what have you done, or not done to the system that it required filling and bleeding in the first...

1993 Ford L7000 dump truck brakes

Pretty sure it’s just hydraulic brakes boosted by the power steering pump pressure. Push the yellow knob in to release the ebrake/parking brake. As I recall, those things always made a lot of noise with buzzers and pumps. If you stepped on the brakes when the engine was off, they made a heck off...

MF 220 Backhoe 3point pillow bearing block

Once you get a new one, perhaps you should take it to a machine shop before install and get them to weld a heavy reinforcing plate across the bottom to help it withstand the load. Shouldn't be too expensive and I imagine the original housing would have been quite a bit more substantial since...

3 point Sickle Mower with Wooden Pittman or Wobble Box?

What about freeing up the slip clutch, or don’t you have them? Both of mine do, 5’ landpride and 14’ bushhog and they need to be freed up every spring. Necessary pain in the rear.

    It's been a while

Sure, call insurance, get a heavily discounted payout for something that's up 20% with inflation and then pay an extra 10% or more on next year's and subsequent premiums so they get it back! Now you've just been had twice. Don't know if I'd shoot anyone if I had the means, but I sure wouldn't...

    Is this a 30B?

I highly doubt that's a 4 cylinder. Looks like 3.152D. I see only 3 injection lines and it sure looks short compared to the 4 cylinder Perkins. I doubt the 30 even came with a 4 cylinder diesel. We have the same tractor and it's damn tight under that hood with just 3 cylinders.

    Opinions on Gravely snowblower?

Your Gravely will easily power that snowblower, but I would recommend you go for a newer one than that. We have both and they're handy around our acreage. A critical consideration for using a Gravely in the winter is having a heated garage for it to stay in. They're a bear to start and handle...

    Steering/Tire problem

Unless you have something in that bucket, you've barely changed the CofG of that machine at all. Looks to me like the backhoe could still be cinched up some more. A couple of inches of sag in the main boom of the backhoe will make way more difference to the CofG than the arc of the front loader...

    Steering/Tire problem

Any xtra weight on the front end will help and make a difference, but it won't help you determine whether it's a balance issue or a locked up rear diff, which it could easy be. It should at least try to turn, even if it's poorly balanced, not just plow straight ahead.
