Ford 4000 Oil Leak
I looked in the fill hole by the gear shift, it was not full. I could see the gears, concerned me maybe it was too low, remove the plug on the side for a second check, plenty of fluid was coming out. Was really hoping it was going to be water in there that would be causing this. I do not see... -

Ford 4000 Oil Leak
This is the fluid I brought at Tractor Supply last week, it stated it meets the M2C134D that the 4000 manual recommends. Will this work for the lube in the front case of the gear shift also? It has been a few years since I purchased the tractor and changed the fluids. Thanks -

Thanks for the quick replies. The hydraulic oil I put in today appeared more clear than what was coming out, it had a tan color, did not appear to have water in it. It was not just dripping from the opening, it was like spraying out. I always check the oil by removing the plugs on that same... -
