Welcome to YT. A lot of the old sediment bowls are designed to shut off with the valve screwed all the way out and snugged. They will leak if left part way open. That’s pretty funny. The guy that made mine seat is a one man shop. He had a special snout on his cannon ark shaped about 14 inches wide and only 1 inch tall opening. Maybe home made. -

New lawn tires that have been compressed to ship won't always ratchet strap to come close enough to the bead to air up. The last ones I got came strapped and collapsed in on the tread looking like a pretzel and no amount strapping would force the bead out. Straight through chuck can't overcome... -

Anyone use their 8n to pull logs?
I’m sure you can unless they are huge. If you don’t already know. Just make sure you pick up the lead end off the ground so they don’t switch ends and whack you if the lead end digs into the ground.- MM-TX

This is what I mean by purlins die into each other. They have to lay flat on the rafters and meat each other in a straight line. If they don't you have to move something. Put that rafter up long and cut it when you know where it wants to stop.- MM-TX

Cutting an odd roof is not easy. Cut some big cardboard and lay it where the tin goes, as said laying boards across rafters also works. Let that tell you where to put the rafter not the other way around. If you are going to wrap around and join different heights you will have to compromise...- MM-TX

This is what you have going right now. If you do this just extend your purlins to meet and let them set both ends of that transition rafter. Probably look fine when finished.
