    Oh, if the clutch is full of grease it won't be able to pull/push. Feathering the throttle is just a way to burn through the grease enough to make it move. As my dad use to say, "It isn't strong enough to pull a greasy string out of a cat's a$$." Hook it to something and see if it will move it...

    If the fitting is the one next to the bell housing, he pumped the clutch and throw-out bearing full of grease. It should only get 1 squirt once or twice a year. Does the throttle linkage work? I wouldn't know an easy way to de-grease the clutch.

    With new front tires and 40-50 psi it should steer like a dream, if not, something is wrong.

    Mine is only 2WD with a loader but I can push brush up hill with the bush hog mowing behind me at 1000rpm in 4th gear. It is a real good tractor. Keep the valves adjusted and your fluid and filters clean and it will never cease to amaze you...

    Take everything off the shaft to where you just have the shifter bar. Look into the hole and hold the bar up at different angles until it drops in.
