    Ford CL45 – bucket removal

    Already tried that Fritz. NO CIGAR !! When I say it's seized tobeat teh band, I mean IT'S SEIZED TO BEAT THE BAND !!!!!!!!!!!!! As I have said, Ford failed in providing an adequate access port to apply lube on the spindle joints that were destined to seize w/o lube.

    Already thoiught of that. Bored holes would not be at all large enough to see what's going on. The 2 rectangles would have to be enlarged at least double with a grinder to access what needs to be accessed; we considered doing that. Ford could/should have done this. Again, poor design ...

    Thanks Used Red MN - that diagram is very helpful (illustrative). On my farmer friend's machine, those "covers" (#19) are apparently removed. However, as I keep saying, there is NO WAY that one can use those tiny rectangular openings to actually see the spindle that would need lubricating ...
