    Because its pretty. Most LP hose is rubber with an internal fabric braid. I use braided stainless hose for fuel lines on tractors with AN fittings. It looks good, the braid protects the interior rubber from sun light, and its not that bad to work with once you get some practice.

    Most all new diesel equipment is still leaving the factory with DEF. As of yet there haven’t been any major changes to the emissions requirements, aside from slowing the adoption of future phases. Its not something I see going away anytime soon.

    When cylinder rods are rechromed, they grind the rod, plate it, the regrind to final diameter. Which is why as others have commented, it is usually cheaper to replace the rod.

    As waxy as those leaves are, you could probably spray full strength and not get enough absorption without something to break though the wax.

    I use Harris Stay Clean liquid soldering flux for items like that, and regular plumbing solder, 50/50 while I still have some.

    Don't the jewelers advertise that you are supposed to spend 2 months wages on a ring? I gave my wife to be a horseshoe nail rolled into a ring, and a pretty black Percheron. Thankfully the marriage turned out better than the horse.

    Methylated seed oil or crop oil as part of the mix would help as well. Or go old school and mix the glyphosate with diesel as a carrier. Although that might cost more than the correct adjuvant these days.

    A true braided hose cutting blade is a continuous steel blade sharpened to an edge, works like a chop saw, but spins much faster. That said a cutoff wheel is often used, with the downside of leaving some debris behind. Either way, wrapping with tape is essential for exterior braided hose.
