    Ran good when parked

    Ethanol is not transported thru pipelines because it does pick up all the water in the line and that would be enough to ruin the ethanol. I worked at a fuel terminal for years and we had to drain our fuel tanks after every receipt because of water.

    Here's a pic of my 12 yr old grand-daughter on her first pull in Winnsboro, Tx. Her first pull and she won farm stock and open class weighing in under 2500 lbs. Really made her day.

    I have an "89 E-Z Go workhorse to use here on the farm, it has saved many a step and is used everyday. My problem is the gas engine (wisconsin/robin) runs much better in reverse than in forward.     B Farmall front trans seal

    Can I replace the front seal on the trans by breaking the tractor at the trans or do I need to break it at the bell housing first then remove the tube from the trans to replace the seal? Only seal I didn"t replace when I had it tore down and "Murphy"s Law" bit me in the rear.

    Lot of people wanted me to hook up the clutch and brakes on the passenger side but I thought that would be too dangerous, especially with young kids. They can steer but I control the giddy-up and whoa.

    Here are a few shots of my 1945 "B" that I just finished. Tore it down to only trans and axles, removed axles and instaled new bearings and seals, new seals in trans and PTO, wire brushed trans housing and axles. Sandblasted from there forward, took everything off and did piece at a time...

    OT Okra

    If you haven"t tried it yet, pick your Okra when it"s only about an inch or two long, no longer, wash and rinse it, then chill it, eat it raw and chilled with a little ranch dressing. Most all vegies are good this way too. As good as it gets. And no slime!!!!!!

    cordless tools....venting a little....

    When that battery dies and you decide to replace the whole tool, save the old one, tear it apart and wire it up with a cord and a pair of aligator clips and keep it in you "other " vehicle. They will all work on 12 volt and do a good job.

    I"ve been told that somewhere out there in never-never land that someone is redoing generators as alternators, to keep tractors looking original. Don"t know who or where, but I believe it can be done.

    O.T. Well water

    I grew up in NE Texas on a farm, only had cistern water, it came off the roof of the house. Myself and 5 brothers and a sister survived with no ill effects, sometimes we even had to skim the tad-poles out of the bucket b/4 we brought it in.

    Check with a motorcycle repair shop, they"ve been using them on cycle chains for years.

    oil pump c123

    The oil pump pick-up screen and device are designed to float off the bottom to keep from recirculating dropped out dirt back thru the engine. It"s explained in the IH manual.
