    Massey 44 special serial number

    The tag is still there. It says 44-GR 6347. The 6347 is stamped in the transmission casting also. I don't see an S anywhere in the serial number.

    Looking at a Massey 44 special. Is there anyway to tell by the serial number on a Massey what model it actually is? The tag is hard to read. It appears there is the letters GR and a number starting with a 6. Can anyone help me in identifying this tractor?

    It seems to be the big places that have multiple auctioneers in their group. Like many of you have said, if you hire them, you should be the ones paying the commission.

    I was wondering how many auctioneers in your areas, charge a buyers premium? I saw an ad on auctionzip that was for one item and they had a 15% buyers premium on it. I personally think it is a crock. I quit going to a local auctioneers sales because of this. What's your two cents?

    Crop flamers

    They are easy to make. I make them for flaming seed corn to retard the growth of some of the plants. You can make your own burners but I order mine.

    Buy a cheap large car cover and cut a hole for the muffler to go through.

    what type of tie down do you use

    I only use chains and binders. Where I attach to the tractor at, I use an old inner tube cut in half so the chain can slide through.

    A guy I work with paid 4.15 this week and the dealer would only drop 100 gallons due to being short.
