how do you burn corn in stove?
It takes about 5 tons of corn to heat all winter, with my stove set on low it burns about 50lbs a day on high it is about 100 lbs/day. Also your house size plays a part too, my home is 2300/sqft.- Mr. Cautious

OT What to do...what to do
Yes, I was refferring to TSC, yes I suppose they are worthless. I do have a pretty good auto parts store near me, only a few miles. I live about 10 miles from the "city". Yes TSC is from what I remember a clothing store, somewhat and petfood, The closest TSC near me now is about 25 miles...- Mr. Cautious

building code
When I built my home 8 years ago the township gave me a guideline to build to. This guideline covered basements too. I dont have a basement but I would guess that you will need a vapor barrier. check with your bldg inspector.- Mr. Cautious
