    so, I have a Massey stationary power unit that seems to have a water pump on the engine that does not exist in the parts books. casting # 37712541 same as 1100 1130 tractors but with a keyed and threaded shaft instead of a press on pulley. I spent 2 hrs. at the Massey dealer looking at parts...

    Could be I think it probably still had the breakin oil in it when I got it but I don't know for sure. so I have been trying to use it as a tractor not jusr puttin around.

    Ok I will do some more looking I blieve all that is right so maybe I will need to takeapart and clean will check for valve movement.

    there is oil dripping off the rocker arms but not enough to spash all over.

    I have a4010 jd that has beenrecentlyoverhauled and thensat for several years. I seems as though maybe it is not getting enough oil to the valves, theysomtimes stick and then predictably it bend push rods,I have good oil pressure (30) lbs . Any thoughts?

    So if I have all the sleeves lined up and the engine sounds good on a tractor I got for free cause the engine was stuck and I got it going is that close enough?
