    Got a local pull to let me use the sled today. 5th gear with 18.4 cuts would spin out at 8500. Not too shabby. Won"t pull 6th. Ready for the big boys now I think. 12 hooks and think everything is ready for some competition if there is any.

    The head and cubes do the trick. Needs a lot of flow that you won't get with stock or aftermarket heads. Has anyone tried a turbocharger on a two cylinder? Is that legal in the top classes?

    Hollywood I have heard of you and that bunch you run with from GA. Folks go to complaining when two truckloads of Deeres show up. 10500 is a lot for a G but I hear it handles it well. How about your buddies?

    Thought about posting a photo but its painted up and you cannot really tell whats there. Spent extra time milling the outside of the block and head to near stock looking and sandblasted. Just don"t know whats ok in the top classes. Still kind of new to this while getting out of the race car...

    Working a stock stroke on mine. Scared of a welded up crank. Seen too many problems. Dyno goes to 125 hp, can get that at less than stock rpm's.

    Got a late JD A that turned into a big project. Had an aluminum block and cylinder head cast. Bored the block big and modified some pistons to fit from a big diesel engine. Used the valves too, big valves. Huge runners on the head - used some race car tech, header manifold, twin carbs, twin...
