4240 hydraulic couplers leaking
Finally getting to work on this. Stupid question. I have the coupler out. In the very center, they have those snap rings that hold in the very center shaft (spring loaded). It is a smaller snap ring, no bend to get a snap ring tool on, it's like a thick piece of wire cut off, no ends at all...- ne_ranch

I did a quick search, unless I missed something, saw results from a few years ago. Both couplers are leaking, good Deere ends. One started leaking fairly bad somewhere out the bottom near the tractor (cylinder will settle with that leak, leak opposite side where hose end is plugged in). Don't...- ne_ranch

Mine developed hole/holes that got moisture in. When it got cold it would get harder to move, water mixed with grease like substance on the cable. When it froze, it locked up. Anyone run one large 12V battery in a JD620?
I've always had single 12v batteries with less cca than that in my 630 when I used it. Hayed with it every day in the winter, sometimes -20.
