    Wide vs Narrow Front End

    I grew up with a wide front 53 model 88. We always had widefronts, and neighborhood was about 50% wides.I personally never cared for the look of a narrow front of any make.

    we had a 2=65 FWA that we used as a loader tractor. very reliable and we asked it to do alot.

    based on my memory of our 1650, and our current 2-105, you will need a separate shaft. The one from your 1850 is different, I would think.

    Exhaust/intake gasket?

    sorry, I was away for a few days. I will take the manifold in to a local machine shop for them to mill. They said it will not be expensive, so we will see. better to do it than to have to redo it in a year or so. I do not have the tools to do it myself

    I have an exhaust gasket that leaks also. I was told not to just replace it without taking the manifold in to be milled true. It would just leak again soon. I got the gasket set from Korves.

    1850 1000 pto

    the assumption is that your 1850 has a 2 speed PTO? I am not sure if they all do. If it does, it will have a shift rail on the lower right side. and I don't think all shafts are interchangeable.

    hydraulic power beyond on 2-65

    I am almost positive it was hooked power beyond on ours. It did not run off the remotes. we had a quick tach loader on it and when we took the loader off , we had to connect the lines together as it was live circulation. valves stayed with the loader. No longer have it to get a picture.
