In trouble, need a Zenith expert!
I am pulling mine apart tomorrow so I can look. Mine is on a 1955 640. Question: are you relocating the fuel lines to get them away from the exhaust manifold?- NGaMountains

Coolant
Another newbie question. What coolant should I use in my 640 and where do I get it. I read somewhere you should not use alcohol based coolant like cars and trucks today use. Something about the boiling point being too low for alcohol. Thanks.- NGaMountains

Carburetor for 640
I am guessing that this carb was put on the tractor later, then. Since it is a 1955 model it no doubt had the M-S carb originally- NGaMountains

Carburetor for 640
I just bought a 1955 640. The I and T shop manual says that the Marvel Schebler carb was used on gasoline engines while the Zenith was used on LP gas version. I have the gasoline version and yet I have a Zenith carb. It has a float and pintle valve in it. Is the book wrong? Were there some...- NGaMountains
