    Case 220 with snowcaster

    Well.. I had the same problem with my 1054 Bolens. I Thought it might be belts slipping but as memory serves, weren't they shaft driven ? Thanks for the input. I just didn't know if the 10 hp was going to be enough to really do a good job throwing it at least 8 to 10 feet.

    Case 220 gear oil

    Thanks, appreciate the info. The 10/30 I put in for the winter worked ok. Had to haul wood once or twice a week in the trailer for the outdoor wood boiler. Beats a wheel barrow any day.

    Case snowcasters

    I seem to notice that the case seem to have more " grooves " and closer together and spin faster than other snowthrowers. They really seem to blow snow better than similar 1 stage garden blowers. Just my imagination or is there a reason ? :?:

    I need to clarify something. When I said the tractor did'nt move in low range I meant it barely, if at all moved in the slow range of the high speed trans.
