    John Deere M running on 1 cyliner

    Did you get copper core spark plug wires? It happend to mine one time and it was a loose plug wire. Also make sure the distributor cap is on correctly. One side has an indentation. You might have already done that but thats where i"d start.

    JD 1010 rear hub removal question.

    A 20 hydalic jack and a home made pulling bracket a lot of heat and it should come off leave the nut on tho. if you dont leave it on but loose the whole hub will shoot across the room. aim the torch so it points to the back of the hub

    I rebuilt a 40U transmission and i had to remove the final drives rear differentrial. I worked from the top to the bottom taking the three shafts out of the case

    Thank you to all that have replied. I believe I have an original cut out switch also. How do i know if its good or bad? Which would be better for charging the battery a new voltage regulator or the original cut out switch. Thanks

    I have an MT and I was wondering what was the difference in new voltage regulators an the original one that it come from the factory. Would it make a difference seeing how the MT and M have two settings for charging, or is that function taken care of in the switch. Anyone with a wiring diagram...

    Its worth what ever some one is willing to pay. I just did a complete motor rebuild for 200 dollars. New piston, connecting rod, all new seals. worth to me is between 800 and 1000
