    Thanks very much for the reply Mitch. I was hoping I could do the seals without taking the complete rear housing off and taking the carrier out and stuff.     Have you got your old pump apart yet? in my experience those aluminum body pumps usually aren't worth re-sealing. You hay very well find that the housing is scored once apart (where the gears turn). New pump from a hydraulic shop run from $250 - $400 or so depending on where you live. May...

    Oliver 1365 rear end oil leak.

    Been working on this tractor for a couple months now. I had never had the rear end oil at the proper level yet. I replaced a leaking transfer case output seal, then filled the rear end to the proper level. Now wouldn't you know it, I have another leak, this time coming out of the brake drum...

    White 2-60 transmisson/ rear end oil???

    I'm sure this is a topic that has been beaten to death. Manual says 20w40 ( I think ) engine oil for transmission/ rear end/ hydraulics. I'm tempted to go with a TDH type fluid. Thoughts on this. Also Rear end final drives call for the same 20w40 oil, thinking I'm gonna go 80w90 gear oil...

    Thanks for the offer. I'm in Ontario Canada and have import tractor parts only a little over an hour away from me. I've gotten parts from him before, seems OK to deal with. But even though he is so close he'll only deal online and in American money which sucks a bit for us Canadians right now.

    I actually haven't checked the pre-heater yet (only had the tractor for a couple weeks so far), it's been in my warm garage so didn't feel there should be a need for it in there. Also About the towing it to start, I had heard that before about these tractors and worked on one a couple years ago...

    Thanks for the reply, nice tractor you have there. I'm hoping once I get the fuel filters changed (that have obvious water in the separator bowl) and fix the return line that the starting gets better. May run it on concentrate Liqui moly as well give the injectors the best chance I can.

    Ya I know its a lot of hours but they do seem to last pretty well. The tractor does have the 1365/1370 style grill on it too.
