    Thanks to all for the suggestions! The o-rings in the oil cooler post got me to thinking, though. I had a seal in the injector pump go bad back in the summer and flooded the crankcase with oil. Any chance this may have damaged the o-rings and causing the leak now? Probably only wishful thinking...

    My IH766 is using/losing water. I cannot find any in the oil and it has not been a problem starting so I dont think its running into the cylinders. There is a milky looking oil on the underside of the dipstick/oil filler stopper. It is probably using 1/2 gal per run hr, so I would think this...

    My 766 is dumping alot(at least 1gph) of diesel into the crankcase. I assume its coming thru the pump. I changed the shaft seal on the gear pump and it did not help. I had changed the seal on the head about 6 months ago as it was leaking to the outside. Starting now to wonder if there is too...

    I have a AC7000 that has lots of blowby. When round baling with it, it looks almost like the field is on fire. So bad, some of my neighbors have named it "Ol Smokey". However, it still starts good and runs good. Just wondering how I can tell if it is from around the pistons or from the valves...
