1951 Ford 8n will not start

I haven't tried to pull start it because I have a loader on the front' so it makes it difficult. I will check all of the lobes and make sure they all measure .025 this weekend, gets dark right after work so it will have to wait till Friday. I'll keep you posted on my findings.

It sounds like it wants to start and smoke will come out but no such luck. I recently changed the plugs, cap, rotor, points and condenser, but it ran after I put these items on. I checked the wires and they are on the right plugs.

    Davis 101A Removal

Does anyone have any literature or procedures on how to remove a Davis 101A loader? Looks fairly straight forward, but I was wanting to do it safely so I figured I would ask. I found the parts and operation manuals but nothing for removal or installation.

there is plenty of suction on the carb and my hand did smell like gas when I removed it. The tractor sounded like it was going to start but never did. When I removed my hand it was almost like the puff of smoke that came out the carb was hot, almost like it is having detonation take place in the...

Air cleaner was clean and free of anything that shouldn't be in there, I did however change the oil in the bottom pan while I was checking.
