    I think the trasnmission is good... It goes into one gear at a time. I just might be dealing with a stuck motor?

    Glad to see this with you guys. I have 3 sons (10,12,15) that love tractors (farm life). My oldest has a 1931 duddle bug and is working on a 1965 D-17.. I'm learning myself.. Thanks... I'm not much for the video games. I'd rather see young people work with the mind and hands...Hand on projects....

    Few weeks ago I thought my motor on my D-17 was seized, but after putting oil to it and finally pulled the tractor I found that what I believe is the clutch is seized. Can that be the case? I put the tractor in gear and the wheels lock. When I ingauge the clutch nothing happens the wheel still...

    Load Cub....

    I have a cub that seems to "whin" more than I think it should. Fluids in the rear are good. I've never heard one sound like this before. Loud when it sits and not as loud when it moves.?

    D17 Motor Seized

    I just put in reg 30. I didn"t think about trans fluid or pulling it. Pulling might be the very last thing I try.. I will give the trans fluid a try... Thanks

    D17 Motor Seized

    I have a D17 that hasn't ran for 3yrs and the motor has seized. The tractor has been covered up and outside in the winter once (covered). The rest of the time its been inside. Have dumped oil in the cylinders and valves trying to free the motor. Any ideas? I don't really want to tear the motor...
