    8N Transmission Bearing Question

Thank you all for your suggestions and assistance. During reassembly, a new issue popped up, one that I should have foreseen - the race in which the 9N7120 front mainshaft bearing rides is bad as well. And since it's cut into the back of the input shaft gear, it can't be replaced, and I instead...

    8N Transmission Bearing Question

Hello, I am working on a 1948 Ford 8N that had a bad growl in the transmission. Upon splitting the tractor and inspecting things, I determined that the mainshaft pilot bearing (part number 9N7120) was the bad one. Its outer race is cut into the input shaft drive gear, and it presses onto the...

I would be very interested to see a picture of your early H's fuel system if you have the time to take the pics. Thanks!

    Need a Farmall H All-Fuel Sediment Bowl

It depends on how hot a climate you live in. From what I know, the engine needs to get above 190 degrees to be able to burn the kerosene. Having the shutters and using them speeds up how quickly the engine can reach 190 degrees, but in a hot climate they really aren't necessary.

    Need a Farmall H All-Fuel Sediment Bowl

If you do I would be very interested to buy it, whether it is complete or just a top. If you have a picture of it that would be great. I am indeed looking for a true 1939-style sediment bowl, I plan to mount it on the starting fuel tank and plumb the fuel lines like they were in 1939.

    Need a Farmall H All-Fuel Sediment Bowl

Hello, I recently purchased a 1939 Farmall H with an aftermarket fuel line. I want to replace the fuel line with the original sediment bowl and metal fuel line setup. The tractor is a distillate model with the 1-gallon starting fuel tank as well as the main fuel tank. I can bend my own fuel...

    Case 500 "509"

Interesting, I have seen a picture of a 509 power unit before. This tractor does actually have a 509 decal on the side of it though, could it be a 500 that was repowered with a 509 power unit possibly? Thank you for your help!

    Case 500 "509"

Hello, A 1954 Case 500 "509" recently showed up for sale near where I live. The listing on Facebook Marketplace claims that it is quite rare, and that it ran 2 years ago but doesn't run now due to injection pump issues. I have never heard of a "509" before, what separates a "509" from a...
